It also NOTEs that the dome will reflect IR lights. What it should say is that it reflects the lights back rendering the camera absolutely useless. You can’t see squat. It might be different if the IR lights had a setting so that they didn’t automatically cut on, but they do. So in order to use these darn things, you will have find an external IR light that has the proper frequency, order and install it (don’t forget a power cord if it doesn’t come with one) and them manually cut off the camera’s IR every night. I will be taking these down and probably buy the Agasio ones for outside. This was not a good experience for me.

UPDATE:After reading the reviews on the Agasio it appears to have the same problem. So domes + cams without night vision + external IR lights = winner.
