This was purchased as a replacement for my Dell Inspiron N5010. It works very well. What I like about it is its slim size but also the fact that it doesn’t heat up. I was sorry I purchased a different slim adapter for my son’s computer because it gets really hot. This was well worth the extra $10 I paid.

I don’t usually do this but I need to update the review. I’ve been using this “Dell” adapter for less than three months. Last week it gave off a tiny spark when I plugged it in a couple of times. Today it was warm to the touch and when I plugged it in sparked – a LOT. It actually burned the prongs on the plug. Who’s making this crap? This is not a genuine Dell. I wouldn’t chance a fire.
