They are BEIGE, a light beige but definitely beige under incandescent lighting (which is what most people have in their homes). They are at least 5 shades darker than cream and have a cooler almost greenish cast to them. I have plenty of other cream/ivory/off-white furniture in my home to compare them to.
I decided to keep them anyway because it is too much of a pain to return 6 chairs.
