Material is cheaply pressed fiberboard with a paper thin coat of paint. Glad we had it delivered to new house because movers stated they refuse to even move this stuff. Drawer bottoms are 1/8" inch cardboard with woodgrain paper covering. I would not trust these drawers to hold anything heavier than underwear and we dont have 6 draweres worth of underwear. Right now it is an expensive lamp table until we can afford real furniture. Probably worst rip off in more than a decade of online ordering. I would be ashamed if I were the retailer to carry this line.you dont expect hardwood and craftsmanship at this price.
