I’m pretty hard on my laptops, and got this cord when the plug on my old one bent. Like the other reviews say, the battery pack does run hot, but that can be eliminated by placing it on a smooth/hard surface. If you’re on your bed, lap, etc, science dictates that it’s going to absorb more heat and get hotter. (Kind of common sense…)
The cord is short and I really do wish it was longer.
However, I bought this almost two years ago, and only recently has it started to have problems. (The connection from the AC plug to the battery pack does not like staying connected.)
Considering I throw it around, tug on it, step on it, and am constantly on the go, I would say that paying- at the time- %7.50 for it plus shipping was a decent investment. Even with the price up by a dollar now, I would still pay for it.
